About Gin
Gin is the former CEO and previously Head of Partnerships at Young Manchester where she was responsible for the grant making of approximately £10m for the benefit of children and young people in the city across a range of programmes.
She previously held strategic and operational leadership roles in the Red Cross in both England and Australia. She is especially proud of leading multi million dollar programmes for mental health, deep social exclusion and children at risk of entering the child protection system.
She has first hand experience of leading disaster and emergency work in her community which has shaped her career and how she thinks about working with people in crisis.
About Justin
Justin is the former CEO of YPF Trust and former Director of Young Manchester. Whilst at YPF Trust he supported 40 place-based youth partnerships to establish local strategies and plans alongside developing a coherent national narrative - securing government investment and working directly with Ministers and senior civil servants.
He was formerly the Youth Campaigns Lead for Save the Children UK, Head of Domestic Programmes for Oxfam GB and then Head of Country, leading the development and implementation of national programmes, policy and campaigns.
He started his career as a youth worker, and has an MA in Youth and Community Work.
